SCHOLARSHIP NOTIFICATION: OAS-CHINA, OAS-CIESS,CONICET -OAS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME, OAS GRADUATE & UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP 2012-2013

1. OAS-China Scholarship programme. This programme offers partial scholarship for OAS members to pursue undergraduates and graduate programmes in China in any field of study available to international students starting in September 2011. Applications should submit the required forms and documents directly to OAS headquarters in Washington no later than Friday, 25th March 2011.
2. OAS-CIESS Scholarship programme 2011. Courses offered under this
programme will be taught in Spanish.
3. CONICET-OAS Scholarship Programme. This programme offers Postdoctoral and Short term research training in Argentina at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cientificas y Tecnicas (CONICET).

Instructions for students' online application for studying in China under a Chinese Government Scholarship

Step 1: Log on b~D;/ /lalhua.csc.edu.cn
The applicants should register for username and p~$sword before logsing In.


Step 2: After logging on the system, please read the "ONLINE APPLICATION GUIDANCE" and follow the steps.


Step 3: Click the button "NEXT" and select the scholarship you want to apply. (Please select the Chinese Government Scholarship)

Step 4: Please note that the" AGENCY NO." Is one of the most crucial part of your online application. It is .'
listed in the first blank under the npERSONAl DATA", Please make sure that you fill It In correctly otherwise
you will not be able to continue your online application.

For applicants to the OAS-Chlna Scholarships, the I#AG~NcY NO." Is 8401.


Step 5: Please fill in the online application form truly, correctly and completely following the steps listed on
the left of the page.

Appllcanu are required to select the disciplines before choosing their majors. Any inquiry about the disciplines and majors please refer to the Disciplines Index, which can be downloaded from the "Help" section on the left hand menu.

Step 6: Preview the application form after finishing it and submit It online.


Step 7: Download the finished application form by clicking the button "DOWNLOAD APPliCATION" and
print out two copies.

Step 8: Please prepare other supportIng documents as required and send the full package of application documenu in duplicate to:
